Terms of Service

By downloading or using Jared (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Service. Jared is provided by Siddhartha Konda doing business as Konda Labs (“we”, “us”). If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The service
Jared is a personal connection manager for iPhone. Features may include storing contacts and interaction history you enter or import, optional reminders, network visualization, optional cloud sync via Sign in with Apple, and optional paid Pro features (including widgets and Jared Intelligence).
Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Cloud sync and Pro entitlements require Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple ID and device, and for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for unlawful purposes or to harass, stalk, or harm others
- Attempt to disrupt, abuse, or overload our servers, APIs, or AI features
- Reverse engineer or misuse the app except as permitted by law
- Upload or store content you do not have the right to use
You are solely responsible for the contact and interaction data you enter or import.
Subscriptions and purchases
Jared Pro may be offered as auto-renewable subscriptions and/or a lifetime unlock, billed through Apple. Prices are shown in the App Store at purchase time. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your Apple ID subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies. Managing or cancelling a subscription is done via Apple, not inside Jared’s servers.
Payment terms are also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement: Standard EULA.
Intellectual property
The app, branding, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of the data you enter. You grant us a limited license to host and process that data solely to provide the service (including sync and optional AI features).
Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for Jared Pro in the twelve months before the claim or (b) zero if you use only the free features.
Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or abuse the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we revise this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, excluding conflict of law rules, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
